Blue Palace Hotel - Elounda

There are certain weddings that come along that you know are going to be big. This wonderful Sikh wedding at Blue Palace, Crete was huge in every sense of the word. Vivid hues, colourful characters, vibrant scenes. An explosion on all the senses. I am not known for being a ‘point & spray’ photographer favouring to watch the story unfold and choose my scenes carefully before I hit the shutter. In this case I was bombarded with scene after scene of stunning imagery, not knowing where to look next. A paradise for the street photographer in me.

As you can see this is a rather large post and I had great difficulty cutting it down to the number of photographs you see here.

My first ever Sikh wedding in Greece and hopefully not my last. An experience that I will never forget.
